He pretty casually was outed by OK Magazine recently, with this gem: ""In his spare time, Matt admits that he wants to start a charity of his own. 'I think it's important to choose something that's really close to your heart. It would revolve around kids. If you can give kids a chance because they are what is carrying on our legacy.' The actor shares three kids with his partner, Simon Halls."
In that story he also admits to wanting to play Montgomery Clift, which is a little gay. But his sexuality's been guessed at and assumed for a while now, but he's denied gayness in the past.
All that being said, one of the best things is that he's hot as hell. And he's in a bunch of movies current and in the works. He's in the Channing Tatum-starring "Magic Mike" that's in post-production and getting set to star in "The Normal Heart." REALLY GAY!
